Currently our Foundation gives aid and assistance to two orphanages located in Viet Nam, near Hanoi. The Ba Vi Center for Children which houses about 100 children and Dong Anh center which has approximately 50 older children and infants.
Cherie Clark has worked with this orphanage since her return to Viet Nam in 1988. The Center also cares for mentally handicapped adults. We have been able to assist frequently in the past few years by giving donations for a library for the older children and helping to feed the infants. Ongoing assistance is needed to help this project and we personally oversee that all donations go directly to the children in terms of direct items purchased and taken to the orphanage.
We are currently able to help with birth family searches in Viet Nam. If you would like further information please email your request". We are charging a very small amount. Note that there are people who make a lot of money on this in Viet Nam and are not at all legitimate. We have a former IMH employee who is helping and it has been very rewarding to find the matches between parents and child.
The project in India involves assisting Dr. Sen, formerly with the IMH Nursery in a project in rural India located about three hours drive from Kolkata. We have hired teachers to assist with basic education within the community and to assist with a dispensary which gives free medical care and medication. Ongoing donations are accepted to assist this project.
You can decide which program you would like your donations to direct to. We thank you kindly for your help and support.
